Military users: RAF and US First Army HQ and D flights, 153rd Liaison squadron
 

Location: Near Erlestoke

Period of operation: 1944/5
 

Runways: ‘All over’ grass airfield?

 

NOTES: USAAF Piper L-4 Grasshoppers and Stinson L-5 Sentinels were operated here. If anybody can kindly add more advice, this will be very welcome.
