NOTES:   In May 2020 I was very kindly contacted by Mr Graham Frost. He tells me that the water meadow by the A247 was used by one of Alan Cobhams tours in the 1930s. However, this does not appear as a venue used by a Cobham tour. These are listed, day by day in the highly recommended book, Those Fabulous Flying Years by Colin Cruddas. The problem being that because the Cobham tours were so extensive, these became almost a generic term for any 'flying circus' venue.

This said, Woking was listed as a venue on the 6th October 1935 by the British Hospitals Air Pageant tour. Maybe this provides an answer?

MICROLIGHTS
Graham also tells me the site was used by microlights in 1979. And, the strip is still visible in very dry conditions.
