Notes:  The first three items were kindly provided by Mr Michael T Holder, a great friend of this 'Guide'. I have added the area view.

Military users: RNAS/RAF Seaplane Station, Kite Balloon Base and Aircraft Repair Depot

Location: In/near the Royal Navy base, about 1.5 to 2nm WNW of the N end of the Forth Bridges

Period of operation: 1917 to 1918

Site area: 4 acres

NOTES: It appears that when this site closed in 1918, operations were transferred to RAF DONIBRISTLE, a few miles further east.
