STANHOPE CASTLE: Civil temporary aerodrome

Location: On the W side of Blaydon, roughly 5nm WSW of Newcastle-upon-Tyne city centre

Period of operation: One or two days in the 1930s

There's a Stanhope Town and castle 22 miles SW of Newcastle but I couldn't find one near Blaydon.
