STRINES CLOUGH FARM:  Private airstrip       (Aka BLACKSHAW HEAD)

Location: Just W of the village of Blackshaw Head which is roughly 2nm W of the centre of Hebden Bridge

Period of operation:  Probably 2007 (?) until 2014?


Runway:   Not known? The fields on this farm have poterntial landing runs in a NW/SE direction of around 120/130 metres 

 

NOTES: The initial info for this site came from the AAIB report EW/G2014/06/13. It appears the Denney Kitfox Mk.2 G-BSCG was based here and using this strip from the 8th September 2007 until the 13th June 2014 when it crashed here.

If anybody can provide further information and advice, this will be most welcome.
