TREHELIG FARM: Private airstrip
 

Location: W of A490, E of A483, 2.5nm S of Welshpool

Period of operation: 1980s only?

 

NOTES: Many years ago I made this comment in my notes: "It seems hard to avoid the conclusion that TREHELIG FARM became developed as WELSHPOOL GA airfield?" In 2016 when looking at this area again, I quickly found that the address for WELSHPOOL, was, surprise, surprise - TREHELIG FARM.

Nevertheless, for the purposes of this 'Guide' I think it is very important is not essential, to record its previous history, and to how it was once known.
