Runway: Originally grass: ? 04/22 830x18 hard (Opened in 1990)
NOTES: This aerodrome was I think built fairly late on, (in the 1980s?), and I seem to recall seeing a remarkable picture of a pretty big aircraft, (a DASH-7 or DASH-8 was it?), about to land here to commemorate it’s opening, or at least the opening of its hard runway.
I’ve since noticed that WELSHPOOL wasn’t listed in 1990 edition of Pooleys. So, when we, (Austin Brown and I), landed there in 1992 it was probably quite a new airfield?

Runway: N/S 500x120 grass
NOTES: Looking at the site on Google Earth it appears the runway width has been made much narrower in recent years.
