Location: Just W of the M11, S of Little Shelford, about 5nm S of Cambridge city centre

Runway:   05/23   600   grass

NOTES: Info source AAIB report EW/G2006/07/24 which features a Piper PA-23-160 Apache.

I had looked for this strip when flying in this area , but never spotted it. Probably looking in the wrong area from what I have since learnt. Many thanks to Karel Adams, a great friend of this 'Guide', for extra information which has enabled me to now pinpoint it.

In November 2020, I was very kindly contacted by Rebecca Gaskarth who sent this first picture. Later, in January 2021, Rebecca very kindly sent the other three pictures.

Re Little Shelford: I crossed this grass strip today on my bike. It is west of Sainsfoins House, OS grid reference 455503 for the windsock midway down the airstrip. I can forward an image of the mid runway and windsock if required. I didn't know it existed.
