Note:  In this 'Guide' an airstrip is just that - an airstrip singular. If it has two or more runways I define it as an airfield.

Location:  Just E of the A579, just NE of the A49/A579 junction with the M6, and about 2.5nm ESE of Newton-le-Willows town centre

Period of operation:  Early 2000s to -
